Thor: Love and Blunder-A personal review

I could no longer hold back from this topic, it's time to say what everyone has been saying, but through me. I DID NOT LIKE THOR LOVE AND THUNDER. There, that's it. No, I'm kidding, I'm going to elaborate and I hate to be an echo of internet, but hear me out.

So I went and  viewed the film per its release, and once again recently. Besides the artistry of eeriness portrayed by Christian Bale, the movie is extremely unredeemable. Thor's literal whole personality is quips with some care for the universe and a hallmark kind of love for Jane. He's a demi-god who could defeat Thanos, but got bested in hand to hand combat with shadow creatures; so that required him to hire kids to help him fight in one a CGI battle you could find on the Syfy channel. What is this crap Marvel?!?!? Not to mention that Jane foster's whole ability to wield the hammer isn't even of her actual worth, but a "protection spell". A majority of these concepts and character qualities tear down the past ten years of their evolution. Thor has lost his whole family, and now only love interest in this movie. Every time this reminded him of his inner strength and will to sacrifice himself no matter the battle(really evident in Infinity War). Instead of delving into his unresolved grief or how to handle his legacy as a wandering god, we're given a kid-friendly marketing project that has the fans who grew up with this story, extremely disappointed. My list goes on and on, finding more issues than moments that actual defend it's legitimacy as well as quality. Let me know if you feel the same or not, also thoughts on some of the points I have here. Have a lovely day!

The Boys Season 4, I'm Ecstatic and have Theories!(Spoiler Warning)

Hello everyone! Now, The Boys. I mentioned the show in my last post, and now I wanna share the excitement I have for what might be coming, or what I think might be coming. If it wasn't obvious I'll be regarding season 4 which we will be heading into this upcoming 2023.

For starters, lets address all the info and factors that are in place. All actors (except obviously dead characters) are returning, with the additions of Jeffrey Dean Morgan, Valorie Curry, and Susan Heyward. Now Jeffrey Dean Morgan hasn't been confirmed for any role yet, but many believe he might possibly take on the role of Tek Knight; maybe be an ally to the Boys. However, Valorie Curry will be making an appearance as Firecracker, and Susan Heyward as Sister Sage. These two new supes have been shown costume and all, but no info relative to where and what they will do in the next season's story has been revealed.

Now, what does this all mean? I think these two new supes revealed are actually going to be the replacement/ new editions to the Seven after the fall of Black Noir and disappearance of Maeve. I fully believe Jeffrey Dean Morgan will be an ally, or maybe a neutral player who hopefully can reunite with Jensen Ackles. I think it would be awesome to reference their supernatural days together, but also see the chemistry they could have inside this plot scenario. Although, with much reading, it sounds like Soldier Boy will be taking a backseat and be an element for later on. So, for the actual story its going to follow one main point, save Ryan before Butcher dies. The only chance Ryan has at not becoming as villainous as his father Homelander is in some form of forgiveness plus communication between him and Butcher, otherwise he'll be lost forever. So hopefully the Boys, still attempting to take down Vought, working for the corrupted FBI, can also make this happen. That's all I have for now, so thanks for reading, and have a lovely day!

Overview of Season 4

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever?

Hello everyone, its been a while and I'm glad to be back. For today's topic I'll be addressing the upcoming Black Panther sequel, especially with all the recent news.

For starters, we finally have gotten ourselves an official trailer, with amazing sound design and vivid scenery that really has brought my hopes for an MCU film. (check it out below \/ )

I will admit, I am little saddened that the rumors or theories of the revival of Kill Monger or E'mbaku becoming the next Black Panther being true, but that for another topic. Alongside this footage, writer-director Ryan Coogler has confirmed that there is a time jump in this story and other details. He confirms that T'Challa's death happens, then this story appears a year later. During this time Shuri's character becomes absent from Wakanda and attempts to grieve, but apparently won't heal properly. Wakanda, ruled by Shuri's mother, may be prosperous until it is faced with the unseen threat of Namor and the Takolans(basically the new term tribal term instead of Atlanteans).

All this leaves so many unanswered questions and a lot for the story to cover. From, what motivates Shuri to be the Black Panther? Why does Namor wish to dominate Wakanda? What is the American government role in this? How is Iron Heart connected to this? Hopefully, all will be resolved, but with many MCU fans recently, many fear another Thor: Love and Blunder. That's all for now, so have a lovely day and goodbye.
